Our normal pet sitting visit lasts approximately 40 minutes.  Go to our Services page to see what these visits include. 

Pet care needs vary greatly. We will discuss the needs of your pets in detail at the initial consultation to determine the best schedule for your pets.  1 to 3 visits per day is the typical request.  Visits will normally take place between the hours of 7am and 9pm, but we are flexible.

Yes, overnight visits are an option.  However, please provide as much notice as possible and check our Services page for fees.

An initial consultation is required for all new clients prior to the beginning of any pet sitting or dog walking assignment.  This will provide us with the opportunity to meet you and your pets.  This also provides the opportunity for you to get to know us and ask any questions you may have.  During this initial meeting we will complete and sign the required paperwork if you decide we are the right pet sitter for you and your pets. 

Our normal dog walking hours are between 11:00am and 3:00pm.  We will walk up to 2 dogs for approximately 25 minutes.  Dogs must be able to be walked on a leash.  Longer walks are available for an additional fee.  Please see our Services  page for current fees and specials.

Full payment is required prior to the start of the pet sitting assignment.  Payment may be made at the time of the initial consultation or left to be picked up at the beginning of the first pet sit. We accept checks and cash or if you prefer, fees can be paid  through Google Checkout. 

A 48-hour notice is required for cancellations.  Because it is highly unlikely that the reserved time slot can be filled with another client with less than a 48-hour notice, we reserve the right to bill clients 20% of the total pet sitting fee for reservations cancelled with less than the 48-hr notice.  Please see below for special Holiday cancellation policy. 

Although no extra pet sitting fees are charged, a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for reservations that include the following holidays: New Years Eve/Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day.  A 7-day cancellation notice is required for refund of the 50% deposit.

We require 2 keys at the time services are contracted.  To simplify arrangements for future visits, we prefer to keep your keys on file.  Keys are kept in a secure, undisclosed location with special coding for indentification.  If you prefer to have your keys returned at the conclusion of the initial pet sitting assignment, a fee of $10.00 will be charged to pick up the keys for any future services.

Yes, all pet vaccinations must be current.

Yes, we will give medications with detailed written  instructions.  We have also been trained in giving injections. 

Yes, please call us as soon as you return.  If we do not hear from you and we can not contact you,for the safety of your pets, we will continue making visits. Normal fees will be charged. 

Our normal service area includes addresses with the following zip codes: 29483, 29485, 29456 and 29420. Feel free to call even if you are not in these areas. For a small additional fee we may be able to service your area or recommend another pet sitter to you.
